Excellent Traditional Tyre Pressure Guage
A well made pressure gauge with quite a vintage look, which I prefer over the modern digital types. An added bonus to this is that batteries are not required! Overall accuracy seems good when I have made comparisons with other guages. The angled head which fits on the tyre valve gives more than adequate access. The guage can be removed once the pressure has been taken for easy reading and is quickly reset by pressing the pressure released button. The plastic carry case is also a nice touch. Poor quality
The pressure dial starts to revert back/return to “zero” setting as soon as you take the unit off the tyre valve. So unless you are quick, difficult to confirm the reading (before dial starts to return to “zero”.......not a great feature. I have another similar device where the dial remains in place (indicating the pressure) until you press the pressure release valve. As the unit sent me has a pressure release valve, I can only assume it is faulty (see above).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Accurate pressure
A tidy little piece of kit, well made and simple to use, the dial face is easy to read and I have no problems to report. The pressure release valve ensures the integrity of the unit - don't forget to use it after testing tyres . I have tested the Racex unit against electronic units costing far more and it appears to be very accurate, the storage box enables the unit to be carried safely in a pocket and I keep spare valve cores and caps in the handy recesses in the case. It does what it should and should, with care, last for years . This is a good bit of kit and essential for bikers as we need to have tyres at correct pressures and cannot afford to trust unmaintained forecourt pumps. Race tyre pressure gauge
I read all the reviews on this gauge before buying , they’re all good and quite rightly so. This gauge is well engineered and very accurate. It comes in its own plastic casing and is exceptional value for money. Some reviews said the plastic casing was difficult to open, I found that if you apply light pressure to the bottom part below the catch whilst lifting the clear upper part up it open easily. Compared to other types that I have seen and inspected in car stores the quality is much superior and more to the point the dial is far easier read.
Since using this pressure gauge I have found that my car tyres are now at correct pressures resulting in a better and no doubt safer drive. Good solid product which comes in a protective case. Easy to use and view tyre pressure on dial. Much better than the digital one I was using as it needed batteries almost every time I used it. Sturdy, well built and appears to be accurate
The gauge is solid, easy to use and easy to re-set. I decided to buy this as I did not trust the pressure readings on the cheaper pencil type gauges; the one I had would indicate a different pressure on the same tyre every time I took a reading. Good quality, easy to read
Took my tyre pressures and found that they were all around 10psi high! Used another pencil type gauge and they were 3 psi low. The Best Tyre Gauge!
This is the best tyre gauge I have had. It is a lovely well made solid piece of kit, made of metal and is heavier than most types due to its solid construction. Pressure guage
A decent quality accurate device. Shame the hard plastic case lets the product down, it could of done with a soft leather (or similar) pouch for which I would of been prepared to pay a little extra. That being said, I have tested this guage against a calibrated unit & the readings were spot on !
